World Book Day 2022

March 4

This year for world book day we are celebrating this on Friday 4th March 2022.

All week there will be a variety of activities to celebrate World Book Day.

On Monday 28th February we have a LIVE-STREAM: World Book Day LIVE with Matilda and friends. This will be live-streamed from the Cambridge Theatre London- home of Matilda the musical.

On Wednesday 2nd March a workshop “Reality check: Books as a portal into life today” which is a digital event.

On Thursday 3rd March an online workshop featuring book authors Nathan Bryon and Dapo Adeola, Simon Farnaby, Michael Morpurgo, Joanna Nadin and Rikin Parekh, and Nadia Shireen, students will explore creating fantastical and improbable worlds for their stories.

On Friday 4th March, each class will take part in different activities relating to World Book Day. The theme for this year is PARTY and HOMEMADE.

The child in each class with the best homemade costume will win a prize

Every class will create their own World Book Day song, these will be recorded and the best song and class will win a prize.
